Selle Francais mare Samorka

Selle Francaise mare Samorka was purchased by Greenacres as an eight year old in January 2007 from Wixstow Stud.

Her sire is the prolific show jumper ' Calvados ' who was by the equally prolific jumper Uriel.

On her Dam's side many prominent horses feature such as Darnels , Amorka , Lucky Boy , Joost and the Trakehner stallion Consul.

Samorka was brought over from Holland by Wixstow Stud and has already produced two foals. She has therefore only been lightly jumped but has been loosed jumped at 2.0m !

Although the horse was bought as a broodmare , we have decided to appraise Samorka over the coming weeks to see whether to put her immediately into foal or to jump her in our team for two seasons.
